Karen and Daniel are exceptional parents. Daniel is a hands-on father. He is laid back and ready to enjoy the moment. Diehlan and Sydney love their daddy, even when they may be in trouble! :) Kids will be kids! Daniel and Karen provide a loving atmosphere that allows Diehlan and Sydney to enjoy their lives as children as well as learn how to respect others and have responsibility. Karen is a loyal, loving mother to Diehlan and Sydney. In addition, all of her nieces and nephews adore her. She never forgets a birthday and is always ready for hugs and kisses. She greets every child with a smile and a loving touch. She knows how to handle children in even the hardest situations. Daniel and Karen already are loving parents, so they would be wonderful candidates for adoptive parents.

It is so wonderful to see Daniel and Karen so close to receiving the gift of another child. They are so good with Diehlan and Sydney, loving and playful while gently guiding them as they grow up. On top of that they are active in their church and community which would further nurture any child. It has been fun to watch Daniel playing catch with Diehlan, swinging Sydney; and Karen fixing Sydney's hair and the family fishing and camping. How much more laughter and love would be added by a new child. As much as Daniel and Karen obviously love each other, it can't help but spill over to all around them; and it absolutely does with their kids. I hope and pray that the dream of holding this child comes true!

Karen and Daniel love their children with all their hearts. I have seen them drive over 6 hours one way to be able to spend time with them for the weekend. Never once did I hear them complain or hesitate to make the trip. The mere fact that they were going to be with the children was motivation enough for them. I watched as Karen fell in love with the children and treated them as her own. I remember the day she first introduced them to me; the smile on her face was like that of a new and proud mother. She is so great with both of the children and I can see the love she has for them every time I watch her paint "puppet houses" or carve pumpkins with them. When Daniel talks of his children, his eyes light up and a smile comes across his face. Every time they would leave to go pick the children up, he would be like a kid on Christmas -- smiling and giddy. Watching him teach Sydney how to ride a bike was so inspiring and seeing him play basket ball with Diehlan is as entertaining as it gets. I know the love they show for both Diehlan and Sydney will be extended to the child they will eventually be blessed with. They are both so excited at the prospect of having another little one to teach, laugh with, grow with, and love.

Throughout Karen's life she has always exhibited a large amount of love toward her family and friends and has always dreamed of having a large family. I know that Karen, along with Daniel, have enough love to spread over many children. The best example of good parenting is seen every day in Diehlan and Sydney. They are well adjusted children and exhibit the love shown to them by Karen and Daniel through their actions with family and friends. Karen and Daniel are a model couple who are living the great American dream with good careers, a loving family and a very bright future. They most certainly would continue to flourish with an addition to their family
