Karen and Daniel Key's Open Adoption Site!

We live in a small quiet neighborhood with lots of children.  Our home is spacious with a large back yard for our children to play and chase our affectionate labs, Caesar and Cloe.  In September, our town has a large county picnic and we cannot wait to see how excited our child is when the parade goes by and when playing games at the many booths.  We also cannot wait to see the look of awe on our child's face when the fireworks go off during the annual Fourth of July celebration.  We are just a short drive to great outdoor activities as well and we look forward to taking our child on hikes in the canyons or picnicking at a nearby lake.

    

Interests

We enjoy going on family camping trips and hikes on weekends, we like to take the family to the movies or play soccer or basketball in the yard.  We have fun with game night, where each of our children gets to pick out a game for the whole family to play together.  We enjoy going on family camping trips and hikes on the weekends.  Daniel likes to fish and cannot wait to take our child to the coast to fish for mangrove snapper.  Daniel enjoys playing with our dogs, playing duets with Diehlan on their trumpets, and building birdhouses with our children.  Karen loves to garden and looks forward to planting flowers and vegetables with our child.  She also enjoys cooking and is looking forward to teaching our children different family recipes.

"Karen loves children and is a caring and devoted wife and mother.  I often see her in her dental office while treating children and the look on her face is so warming that it makes me smile.  She loves participating in outdoor activities, constantly finding a fun way to make outings pleasurable as well as educational.  Karen is always encouraging Diehlan and Sydney to do their very best at everything they attempt from school to sports.  I admire the way she believes in teaching the children responsibility and respect for others and how she puts her heart into everything she does"

What a job!

Karen is a Dentist and has her own private practice.  She loves treating patients and works hard to bring them excellent dental care.  Her staff is excited about turning a spare office into a nursery for our baby to use during the day.

 



                               

About Daniel, by Karen

"Daniel is a very warm and loving person and loves spending time with our family and trying new activities.  I adore how devoted Daniel is as a father and husband.  Diehlan and Sydney are his number one priority and he goes to great lengths to be involved with our children's activities, driving three hours to attend soccer games or dance recitals.  I love how he puts our family first and how he supports and encourages everyone in everything they do."

What a job!

Daniel is a computer instructor at a small college.  His job allows for a lot of time off and flexibility.  This allows him to go on  our children's field trips or stay at home during Christmas break.  Daniel loves working with computers and designing networks.
